Top 5 Play Sets To Buy This Summer 2022 That Are Budget Friendly

When it comes to running an in home daycare, you will want to have some fun and safe things for your kids to play with, but also budget friendly. The weather is going to break soon and be consistently nice so your kids can play outside. The last thing you want is to buy something and it fall apart quickly or just isn’t safe or licensed approved.

If you choose to get a playset that involves climbing up or swinging, you will need a fall zone material underneath that is so thick. You will want to contact your local Job and Family services to find out the criteria. The grass does NOT count as fall zone material. So, the best thing to do is contact your local JFS or state department.

Step2 Clubhouse Climber

This one is my favorite. Super close to the ground, so no one will get hurt. I have worked at a daycare where a child fell and broke their arm. It was scary and stressful and if I can avoid this problem I will. This playset/climber is all plastic. It does have a weight limit of 197lbs. You will want to check with your state on the fall zone requirement since this one is very low to the ground. It might be okay to not get one. Which will save you money too! This playset does cost a little more than the first two I have posted about, but it is still under the $1000 mark. Currently it is on sale for $749 and is normally $879.

Climb-N-Crawl Caterpillar Tunnel

This climb and crawl tunnel is adorable and perfect for your little ones that are small. They can crawl through it if they haven’t learned to walk or they can climb on it and over it if they do walk. It is perfect for all ages and super cute for your backyard. Of course this one doesn’t require a fall zone material which is a money saver. Step2 All Around Playtime Patio with Canopy Playhouse

If you are required to have shade in your backyard, this is the perfect item to get. This playset is super fun and has a canopy top to provide shade on those summer days. It is always very budget friendly and doesn’t cost a lot. It is budget friendly and priced at $220. This one you have to purchase fast because I wanted to get it and waited a couple of days and it was sold out. So, I ended up finding another one that was more expensive. It has a pretend grill, sandbox, and water table. It is a fun way for the kids to pretend and have a backyard bbq party.
